Sydney is an international gateway to Australia and is within a 3 hour flight from most locations in Australia (except WA) and New Zealand.

The city is served by the Sydney International Airport with one international (T1) and two domestic terminals (T2 and T3). Many international airlines as well as the major Australian airlines Qantas, Jetstar, Regional Express (REX) and Virgin Blue have regular flights to Sydney. Flights can be conveniently booked online or via a travel agent.

The fastest (and cheapest - $14 one way, $21 return) route to the city is via the Airport Link - an underground train accessible directly under all airport terminals. Trains depart every 10-15 minutes for the city centre. The closest city stations to the conference venue are Circular Quay and St James stations. Taxi fares from the airport cost approximately $30. Shuttle bus/vans and major rental car companies also operate from the airport.

Sydney offers a wide range of accommodation options from backpacker hostels, hotels and apartments to suit all budgets.  Hotel prices typically range from $A100-400 per night. A map with hotel locations (and the conference venue) can be located here. Guides for visitors can be found here.
