Mass Spectrometer

The School houses a Thermoelectron LCQ electrospray mass spectrometer interfaced with a liquid chromatography system for MS and LC-MS analysis of proteins and peptides. It also operates two MALDI based instruments in the form of an Applied Biosystems hybrid QSTAR and Voyager DE-STR within the Biomedical node of the Australian Proteome Analysis Facility.
