Course structure in the Bachelor of Science (Nutrition)

 

A standard full-time enrolment is 24 credit points per semester.

First year

If you haven’t studied HSC 2 unit Biology, you are strongly recommended to attend the University’s Summer School or the Bridging Course. Both are held in January/February.

If you have not taken HSC 2 unit Chemistry, you should enrol in CHEM1001 and CHEM1002 and are strongly advised to take a Chemistry bridging course before Semester 1. We also recommend that you take the CHEM1001/1002 supplementary course before second year (last week of January).

HSC General Mathematics does not provide sufficient grounding for undertaking a Science degree. Students who completed General Mathematics are strongly recommended to attend a bridging course through the Maths Learning Centre.
