Hi! You've come to the homepage of A/Prof. Joel Mackay and A/Prof. Jacqui Matthews. Together with Drs Dave Gell and Margie Sunde, we run labs that are interested in protein structure and function, as well as protein design and engineering. We have a special interest in transcription factors and their interactions. At the moment, we also seem to be trying to set a record for the most nationalities in a lab - currently, we are entertaining people from NZ, England, S. Africa, Hong Kong, Austria, Germany, Spain, India, Finland, Singapore, Serbia, Czech, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Denmark and France - as well as a few garden variety Australians for good measure...
