Sydney University Nutrition Research Foundation Symposium

“Vitamin D - dietary sources and bioavailability”

Marginal vitamin D deficiency is recognized as being relatively common, even in countries with plentiful sunlight in summer. Epidemiological links between low vitamin D status and various diseases have stimulated research and the development of public health policies to raise vitamin D status with the prospect of improving the overall health of populations
