Tony Weiss appointed to Australian Biotechnology Advisory Council

The Hon Ian Macfarlane, MP, Minister for Industry, Tourism and Resources has just announced that Professor Tony Weiss been appointed to the Australian Biotechnology Advisory Council. The Council provides five Australian Government Ministers with high-level independent advice on the role of government, industry and research on biotechnology development in Australia. Its priority issues in biotechnology include research and development, international links, commercialisation, public interest and ethics.
