Kate Quinlan wins medical research award

The Australian Society for Medical Research (ASMR) XIVth NSW Scientific Meeting was held at the Powerhouse Museum on the 6th of June.

Kate Quinlan (Edwards) from Merlin Crossley's lab won a 2005 University of Sydney Medal for Excellence in Medical Research for the best overall presentation. This was awarded following her talk entitled "A molecular link illuminates breast cancer mechanisms". The award comprised an actual university medal and cash.
