Success at Lorne conferences
3 Mar., 2006

As always the School attended the Lorne Conferences in large numbers. The research of a number of students was recognized by poster prizes. Alister Funnell (Merlin Crossley's lab) received a poster prize at the Genome Conference for his work on erythroid transcription factors, Fionna Loughlin (Joel Mackay's lab) received a poster prize at the Protein Conference for her work on zinc finger proteins in splicing, and Nicky Vickaryous (Emma Whitelaw's lab) was awarded a Promega Prize and presented a talk on ENU screens for murine epigenetic modifiers at the Genome Conference.
